I have a Ford Fiesta 2008 The car is petrol I am struggling to find the biting point as I can't feel it also this is really important especially as I tend to struggle on hills.

I have been taught how to drive in a diesel car.

In a petrol car you gas it then bring the clutch up slowly till you feel the biting point.

If I am on a hill in my petrol car I bring the clutch up slowly but the car stalls. (The only way I prevent stalling is by applying the car handbrake then find the biting point then gas it also I take the handbrake off but by doing it this way it takes me longer to drive then drivers start getting impatient)

Any suggestions appreciated?

bring it up to 3k rpm and release the clutch... should take off on a hill that way. I guess an '08 doesn't have the hill assist function?

The Fiesta has a light clutch, I can't wear my work boots to drive it or I can't feel it. With regular tennis shoes it's not a problem though.

As in the effort is light. Usually makes it harder to tell when the clutch is engaging. My S10 pickup has a heavier clutch, makes it easy to feel even with work boots on. My Fiesta is a 2019 US model.
