Hey gang.
I've got a 2015 edge titanium and I'm having liftgate troubles. It doesn't want to release when using the front switch, the rear switch (inside and outside) or with the key fob. I'm having to get inside and release it manually. Once it's open, the buttons work, which tells me all the buttons are good. I can hear it attempt to open but doesn't quite work.
I'm suspecting the latch mechanism itself. Either the latch or the motor that pulls the wire but it doesn't sound that way.
Anyone know of a test procedure? I've flipped the latch closed, pressed buttons and I get no movement from the latch.
I'm starting a week long family road trip tomorrow morning. At this point and time, I'm just gonna have to crawl through and release manually each time. What a pain!
Anyone have advice?
