My rear hatch is not working. For the past week, the rear hatch wouldn't open with the button on the dash, on the keyfob, the foot sensor, or with the button on the door itself. The taillights flash, but the door remains closed. I thought the latch was stuck, but then randomly it started to work again. This week, it opened fine, but when I tried to close it-nothing happened, and I had to close it by hand. Now, it either will unlock, but I have to lift it manually, or it just wont open at all.
I did some reading and it seems that some people say it could be the fuse. But, if it is the fuse, wouldn't it just not work at all instead of periodically working? Alot of people also said it could be the latch itself, but that wouldn't explain why it won't close either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
